On December 6, 2008, local time, the Trade Exhibition 2008 of the PRC in Panama went into its third day with numerous visitors in the exhibition hall. At 4:00 p.m., Mr. Samuel Lewis Golindo Havarro, Panama’s First Vice-President and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Madam Gisela Porras, newly appointed minister of Commerce and Industry, accompanied by Chinese officials like Representative Bao Esheng and Deputy Representative Hong Xiao of the China-Panama Trade Development Agency, Director Liang Haiguang and Deputy Director Liu Zhenhua of the Chinese delegation, paid a visit to the Trade Exhibition 2008 of the PRC in Panama.
Mr. Samuel Lewis and Madame Gisela Prras listened carefully to the introduction to the exhibition given by Director Liang Haiguang, visited the tables of ZXAUTO and Xingyue Corporation and had photos with the Chinese delegation and the exhibiting enterprises.
During the visit, Mr. Samuel Lewis spoke positively of the Chinese products with fine quality and low price and the role the previous trade exhibitions play in promoting the China-Panama economic and trade relations as well as friendship among people. He also expressed his wishes for the success of the exhibition.
